Frequently Asked Questions

  • No we do not direct bill to insurance but you will be provided a receipt that includes our psychologists’ license number for you to submit for reimbursement. Children with FSCD funding, can be directly billed depending on contract.

  • Based on the current fee schedule from  Psychologists Association of Alberta our hourly rate is $240/hour.

  •  We are centrally located off of Kensington Road and 19th Street. Suite #200-1982 Kensington Road, Calgary, Alberta.

  • Yes we offer telepsychology sessions in a secure, virtual setting that can easily be accessed via your computer or mobile device.

  • A referral is not required, you can make an appointment by reaching out to us at any time.

  • Sessions are based on  60 minutes.

  • To make an appointment, you can submit a request online through our website, as well as you can email or call our office.

  • Counselling offers social skills training, helping your children to develop communication skills and build positive relationships. This helps them manage social situations more confidently.

  • Free parking is located right outside of the building complex.

  • Yes, indirectly it can. Counselling addresses underlying emotional factors that affect your child’s academic performance. By finding ways to deal with anxiety and improve self-esteem, counselling can indirectly help with academic struggles.

  • There is no fixed duration of counselling. It depends on your child’s needs and progress. We will closely work with you to develop a treatment plan. By regularly reviewing progress, we will ensure we are meeting all goals.

  • Yes! Our office is LQBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safe place.
